The title track of this album stands out the most. It is a party trip through and through and comes three years after their last album, 2014’s “Representing”. This has paid off as “Roots Party” is getting a lot of buzz around it. Tribal Seeds is still working towards creating an at-ease vibe, always willing to give a good time to their audience. By the mid of this year, the band has also released its second EP titled “Roots Party”. The song has nearly 200,000 plays on YouTube and has exposed the group to an international audience. They released their groovy and cheeky single “Rude Girl” in the beginning of the year, with a quirky music video to accompany it. In 2017, the band focused more on recording than on touring. It is expected that the band will achieve great things over their career, having achieved this many milestones in a matter of years.

They have opened for and shared the stage with numerous artists such as Cee Lo Green, MGMT, Stephen Marley, Jason Mraz, Sublime, Gregory Issacs and countless others. The band has toured the U.S and also performed in Mexico, Aruba, Hawaii and Guam. This album is inspired by the band’s musical career and experiences on tour and it paid off as this authentic experience resonated with their fans. In 2011, the Tribal Seeds released “Soundwaves”, an EP that reached number 2 on the Billboard Reggaeton Charts. And the risk has paid off as the local community is extremely supportive of the group. Despite gaining so much success in such a short time, the band chose to stay in this city instead of choosing to move to such obvious choices as Los Angeles or Nashville. What is perhaps most striking for the Tribal Seeds is how deep-rooted its success is in San Diego’s music scene. Both of these albums were written and produced by the Tribal Seeds and recorded and mixed at San Diego’s Signature Sound Studios by Alan Sanderson. “The Harvest”, meanwhile, debuted on the number 5 spot on the Billboard Album charts. Their debut album garnered a “Best World Music” Award for the band as well, at the San Diego Music Awards in 2008. In 2009, they released their second LP, “The Harvest” and iTunes immediately named both their albums “The Best Of”. Their authentic sound immediately propelled them into the forefront of the American indie music scene. Together, they practiced and perfected their sound and released their first LP in 2005.

Over the years, they included four more members in their band. The Reggaeton band was started by the Jacobo brothers as an ode to their music heroes Bob Marley and Peter Tosh.
